About Us

We are NTN

NTN has been supporting the adult skills provider in the East Midlands for over 25 years. NTN is a membership and training business specialising in work-based learning.

Originally supported by the Nottinghamshire Training and Enterprise Councils, subsequently the Learning and Skills Council NTN holds an Adult Skills contract to deliver apprenticeships and adult skills.

The Network has provided an important voice and a listening ear and we continue to lobby on behalf of the sector, responding to Local and National consultations on behalf of Members and maintaining strong links with Regional and National bodies such as the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP).

NTN provides a comprehensive information and advice service for members and has grown both its remit and its geographical coverage beyond its Nottinghamshire base to the wider Midlands area.

The Leadership Team

NTN is governed by a board who are nominated from the membership. The board steer the strategic direction of the business and support the work of the CEO and NTN team. Board members are selected for their expertise in business and adult skills.

“To inspire excellence and promote quality in all aspects of work based learning, representing our members, supporting our network through partnership and collaboration to deliver the best possible experience to our learners.”

“As the regional lead organisation representing all the work based learning sectors NTN will inspire, support and promote improving quality standards of the recruitment, development, delivery and progression of all learners through work based learning. NTN will work collaboratively with work based learning organisations to develop a local and regional skilled work force through professional, forward thinking, experienced and qualified delivery teams and managers. NTN will reinvest in our membership promoting and improving work based learning provision, accessing funding to support the vision and influencing regional and national policy.”

We have found the NTN events both informative and practical in a time of such change and flux within the sector.
